The contents page of this particular magazine has typical conventions of a contents page such as the headings and page numbers. Images relating to the text and page numbers. The word contents is replaced with MOJO, however the familiar layout allows the audience to know this is a contents page. The title of the page, Mojo is big, bold and dark which stands out to the audience.

The bold numbers stand out to the audience and give a clear insight into the location of the content.
The subtitle has descriptions underneath in italics telling the reader information on the contents. However, the description gives just enough information to keep the reader interested and wanting them to read more.

The images on the left of the page indicate the magazine has focused on multiple stories instead of one main story. This informs the reader of multiple content within the magazine, as the bigger main story would be located on the front cover whereas here more stories are pictured to pull the audience to reading more of the content within the magazine. The images are also arranged in a collage layout, making the reader relate to the magazine more due to the layed back feel it is connoting as it gives off a vibe that they have just placed the images wherever and not given too much thought into it, giving the impression of being effortlessly cool. The images have been placed in positions all over the contents. A collage layout gives a chilled out feeling where not much effort has been placed into the positioning of the image. The audience can relate to the images as they also will most likely be of a layed back nature giving a cool kind of vibe.

The text and page numbers relating to the title are located towards the head of the images. This effect makes the text stand out to the audience along with the bold red background positioned behind the text towards the top of the image. Some of these images, however, do not link with the text to the left, some have been put there instead of text. This not only gives the page a good ratio between text and image but also leaves the reader intrigued as only an image and title is being revealed and no explanation as to what the feature will contain is included. This leaves the reader in suspense as to what the article is about, making them want to read on and discover more.

The comic pictures located around the contents add a sense of humour to the contents. This gives of an informal vibe where the chilled out nature of the audience can relate to the magazine.
